French Line Grenadiers

Tour de France - Stage 11

Finished off some French Line Grenadier companies, as I watched the race unfold through the mountains for France last night

These are a mix of warrior and lancashire elites, painted up as Grenadiers of the Ligne, and mounted as 2 figure company bases for Empire

I basically need these to pad out the ligne battalions for all of my regular French battalions

Here they are now installed on the Battalion bases to bring each unit into a respectable balance.

Next - I will finish up some regiments in greatcoats, and then start looking at putting some whole Divisions together at this 1:60 scaling, complete with guns, command, baggage and base camp.

Race is not over by a long shot - another big mountain stage tonight !!
